Social Tables Hires John Hannula as Chief Revenue Officer

Social Tables Chief Revenue Officer John HannulaAs we continue toward our vision of connecting the hospitality industry through collaborative event planning technology, we’re beyond thrilled to welcome John Hannula as our first Chief Revenue Officer. Backed by a proven track record of revenue leadership, John will oversee all company revenue — from new sales to customer retention — guiding Social Tables on the road to accelerated growth and expansion.

“After an extensive search, we’ve found a great partner in John. I’m thrilled about the experience he will be adding to the team and know that his impact will be exponential as we continue to scale our current operations and expand into new ones.” -Dan Berger, Chief Executive Officer

No stranger to our home of Washington DC, John completed his MBA at Georgetown and currently sits on the Board of the Georgetown Entrepreneurship Alliance. As a seasoned leader with over 20 years of experience owning end-to-end marketing and sales funnels, he has demonstrated success in developing, scaling, and executing programs from mere ideas to profitable lines of business.

Most recently, John served as VP of Sales and later VP of Business Development for FrontPoint Security — a consumer technology company specializing in home security and automation. There, he launched the company’s first sales strategy and led its operational implementation, scaling the sales organization from 7 to 180 people in a period of strong material revenue growth.

We look forward to catalyzed success with John leading the sales charge and can’t wait to see his impact.

“I couldn’t be happier coming on board at Social Tables. The ingredients for rapid and continued growth are already here in the team, product, and vision. Now, it’s time to work together to collectively bring that vision to life.” -John Hannula, Chief Revenue Officer

Planning the buffet, placing the mics, laying it all out — it’s not easy making the little details come to life. So in 2011, we set out to change the way events are designed by introducing better collaboration between planners and properties. Today, we’ve evolved that vision into an innovative platform offering the industry’s leading solutions for event sales, services, and group distribution. All to help the world create the best face-to-face events.
