10 Resources to Find the Industry’s Leading Hotel Sales Jobs

Hotel sales jobs may be advertised in many different places, which can make them hard to find. To help you find the most coveted hotel sales jobs we’ve gathered together a list of the top resources. From hotel sales assistant or sales executive to Sales and Marketing Director positions, all of the resources below may list jobs relevant to your career through hospitality.

1. Company websites

Many of the big hotel chains – and even some of the smaller ones – advertise their hotel sales jobs directly on their websites. So don’t discount going direct to the source to start your search.

Most of these types of companies, such as Marriott or Hyatt, will have a Careers or Jobs page. These pages typically have advanced search functionality providing the possibility of pinpointing the best jobs from the most reputable hotels in the sector.

2. LinkedIn

In general, LinkedIn is increasingly becoming an important resource for finding all kinds of jobs, including hotel sales jobs.

Here you can search directly for hotel sales jobs, or if you have a strong profile that showcases your hotel industry experience well, you might just get noticed by an employer directly when they look for new employees. Recruiters in the hotel industry are increasingly using this powerful resource to find qualified staff, so this is one not to be missed.

3. Hospitality Online

Hospitality Online is an excellent resource for finding hotel sales jobs across the United States. As well as returning the most relevant results at the top of the list, this online resource has helpful filtering options to see jobs listed by company and type of role (e.g. full time or part time), among others.

4. Indeed

While this online resource does not specialize in hospitality, many hotel sales jobs are posted here at all levels of entry. Some examples include Director of Sales and Marketing, Sales Coordinator, Hotel Sales Associate. The filtering system is excellent, enabling drilling down to the right opportunities.

5. Glassdoor

Glassdoor is another generalist website where hotels post sales jobs. One of the advantages of this website is that it is also an excellent repository of reviews about what others think about working for the company, providing an insider’s view that helps with assessing if it would be a good fit.

8. Gecko Hospitality

You’ve heard of staffing firms but have you heard of hospitality staffing firms?

Gecko Hospitality has partnerships with over 450 hospitality national and international companies to help you find your next career move. Similarly, if you’re from a hospitality brand or hotel and are finding a shortage of talent in your area, you can work with Gecko Hospitality to find your next great hire.

9. Hosco

Hosco claims to be the world’s leading hospitality network, currently boasting some 33,000 jobs and almost 2,500 employers in the hospitality industry. In reality, perhaps due to the organization’s base in Switzerland, the online resource is excellent for finding European hotel sales jobs, and as an added bonus, there are also a lot of jobs posted in the United Arab Emirates.

10. Hozpitality

It might take a little more digging around to find hotel sales jobs in Asia, but a good starting point might be Hozpitality. Headquartered in Dubai, and focusing on the Middle East, the company does list jobs for the Asia Pacific region too.

This by no means is a comprehensive list of online resources to find your next hotel sales job. But we do hope it arms you with some new places to find your next dream job.
