When considering goals for 2015, Matt Watson, Director of Oglesby Union Guest Services, foresaw the positive impact of backing all new initiatives with technology. “I am constantly challenging my team to incorporate as much technology into our space as possible. From display upgrades to enhanced WiFi capabilities to streamlined reservations with EMS - we were getting there, but we needed a diagramming solution.”

After purchasing tablets for his team, Watson turned to Social Tables to help his operational staff work more deliberately. “We are measured on occupancy - there are financial ramifications associated with not properly utilizing our available space,” Watson says. The operations team now enters a room, pulls up the appropriate diagram on a tablet, projects the diagram on a wall, and gets to work with setup. “Social Tables has increased our efficiencies in getting our rooms set, organized and torn down, then transitioned into the next program, which allows us to book more business.”
